How often should I use a water flosser?
Once a day is enough for most people. Using it regularly keeps your gums healthy and your mouth feeling fresh.
Can a water flosser replace brushing?
No, it works alongside brushing. Brush your teeth first, then use a water flosser to clean deeper between teeth and along the gums.
Does it hurt to use a water flosser?
Not at all. Use lukewarm water for a more comfortable experience. Keep your mouth slightly closed to avoid splashing, and gently guide the stream between your teeth. Start on the lowest setting, then gradually increase the pressure as you get used to it
How long should I use a water flosser for?
Around 1- 2 minutes is enough to clean your whole mouth effectively.
Is it normal to that my gums bleed at first?
You might notice slight bleeding in the beginning, especially if your gums are inflamed. This usually improves within a few days as your gums get healthier.
Can I use a water flosser if I have braces or implants?
Absolutely! It’s actually one of the best tools for cleaning around braces, implants, crowns, and bridges.
